Rates
At the outset, we will propose rates to you for each season. These rates will be proposed based on our in-depth knowledge of the market, our experience as well as comparison with other properties on our portfolio.

The rates that we propose cover a 12 month period from 1 February to 31 January of the next year.

We send our suggested rates for the next mandate period to you in October of every year, giving us enough time to finalize before the start of the next mandate period.

An exclusive mandate means only Plett Getaways can take bookings for your property.

Exclusive mandate properties enjoy special focus and attention from our rental agents, and there are a  number of marketing activities that are performed only for exclusive mandate properties.

In addition these properties can be listed on other well-known accommodation booking channels such as Booking.com, Airbnb etc.  We manage the listing by ensuring calendars and rates are in sync across all channels, descriptions are accurate and photos updated.

From our experience, the properties that agree to list with these additional channels consistently outperform the properties that are not listed.

A non-exclusive mandate means that bookings can be secured from multiple sources, including your private bookings.

Non-exclusive mandate properties enjoy all the benefits that flow from our large tenant database, existing relationships, location, online presence and our experience. However some marketing activities are not performed for non-exclusive mandate properties.
