Plettenberg Bay is a base for many hiking and walking trails featuring advanced hiking trails, the most scenic coastal walks, magnificent forest hikes - many suitable for the whole family.

Robberg Nature Reserve

The Robberg Hiking Trail is the most popular and scenic trails in the Garden Route.  The reserve is also a World Heritage Site and marine protected area home to 6000 cape fur seals and other wildlife.

Storms River Mouth

The Storms River Mouth Rest Camp is located in the Tsitsikamma Section of the Garden Route National Park features several hiking trails ranging in duration and difficulty. The most popular trail is the 1 hour mouth trail along a winding board walk through indigenous forest to the mouth of the Storm River, the famous suspension bridge and the Storms river Mouth Cave (Khoisan Heritage Site).

Diepwalle Forest Trails

Set amidst the treetops of the Diepwalle Forest, a network of day walks through pristine Knysna forest along a mix of old woodcutter trails, boardwalks and forestry road.
