This marks a significant achievement, solidifying Offshore Adventures’ dedication to environmentally responsible tourism and community engagement in Plettenberg Bay.
As a leading provider of marine safaris offering unique seal swimming experiences at Robberg, Offshore Adventures is one of only seven boats in South Africa to receive this coveted international recognition, and remains the only Blue Flag accredited boat operator in Plett.
The Blue Flag program, administered in South Africa by the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA), is a globally recognized eco-label awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators. Achieving Blue Flag status requires adherence to rigorous environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility standards. This includes demonstrating a commitment to minimizing environmental impact, promoting environmental awareness, ensuring passenger safety, and providing accessible experiences for all.

Offshore Adventures continues a commitment to the local community, prioritizing employment opportunities and training for residents and supporting local small businesses in their small retail store.
